QI REGISTRY
1. Review SPP Materials
The SPP Guidelines provide a detailed description of the program, with complete lists of all data variables for all 4 optional modules on pages 7-13.
SSSF obtained a centralized IRB exemption for the Surgeon Performance Program, validating it is a non-research, quality improvement registry.
The Registry Participation Agreement (RPA) will need to be fully executed before participation in the program can begin. This agreement will be executed through DocuSign. The terms of this agreement are non-negotiable. If you’d like to review this agreement, reach out to us and we will send you a PDF copy.
2. Sign Registry Participation Agreement
Once we have a fully-executed RPA in place, our Data Manager will provide you and members of your team with unique login credentials so that you can begin data entry immediately.
3. Establish a Data Entry Plan
The required data-sets for SPP were developed to be feasible by a surgeon independently, regardless of the availability of administrative support, however, sites will need to designate an individual or individuals who will be responsible for entering data for the registry.
4. Enter Data!
You can start entering your data and start receiving real-time reporting thru your Dashboard Reports .
SQID: The SPP and POSNA Collaboration
SQID is a collaborative effort between the Surgeon Performance Program and POSNA. If you are a member of POSNA who is interested in joining SPP, the SQID initiative is for you. This collaboration is highly integrated into the established program, so no additional data entry is required! Simply let the program manager know that you are a POSNA member and you will automatically be tracked under this registry.
